AA Awards
We are delighted that milsoms has been awarded a second rosette from the AA, although this won’t be mentioned in the current (2008) guide which is already out of date. No wonder that so many of us now rely on the internet.
Generally we’ve done brilliantly well in the guides with Maison Talbooth the highest rated hotel in Essex and set to be even better when it re-opens in April. Le Talbooth is one of only 15 restaurants with 3 red knives and forks in theMichelin Guide but for some reason continues to be omitted from the Good Food Guide which includes milsoms and the Harbourside (which it lists as one of its longest serving restaurants). Paul recently wrote to the editor of the guide and the reply was that “the guide relied on customer feedback for inclusion in the Guide”.
